The project I am currently working on has been part funded by a small research grant given by the FADE [Fine Art in the Digital Environment] research group, which is a joint Camberwell college of Art and Chelsea College of Art initiative. This project used paintings by Claude Lorraine, to generate a landscape composition. The work was shown at the university of the arts London and University of Northampton.    more »

This project was carried out with colleagues from D-Fuse. D-Fuse were invited to submit a proposal for an ‘art event’ to be held in Ostienze Market, a district in the southern part of Rome. The market had been closed down and the local authority wished to redevelop it. The organisers of the event wished to hand the space over to artists to see how they’re interpretation of the space could suggest alternative use. Artists such as Achim Wollscheid, Justin Bennet and Janek Schaefer were also invited.   more »

A corner can be seen as a node within the context of an urban map. A city is made up from multiple nodes linked together by routes, structures and transport systems. This film asks the question can corners emulate the lost public squares, of London?   more »

Temporal Facades was submitted to the LAB [London Architecture Biennale] selection committee in late 2005. This committee was made up from 19 panel members, including Peter Ackroyd, Paul Finch, Zaha Hadid and Rowan Moore. The project was accepted for inclusion into LAB_2006.   more »

Our environment, culture and way of life has been transformed by the use of Digital technology. As with photography over one hundred years ago, we are again looking at how we see the world around us. Institutions are no longer bound by the physical nature of building. Banks, shops, offices and homes are being transformed by the internet and networking technology.   more »

Pasar Malam

This short film explores the role of the call for prayer, in determining the structure of the day. The daily prayer acts as a metronome, and each prayer is followed by the ritual of food.   more »
